Is Greenmantle Pottery handmade?
Yes, all pottery is handmade in the Uxbridge studio. As it is not mass produced, each piece is individual and unique; perfectly imperfect. Many of the stoneware serving pieces are heavier than commercially produced pottery. But we think this only adds to the charm and aesthetic of the piece.
How to care for your pottery?
All Greenmantle Pottery is both dishwasher and microwave friendly. However, we recommend that you handwash your pieces with regular dish soap to keep them looking their best and to extend the life of each piece.
Do you support any charitable causes?
Greenmantle Pottery has a long-term relationship with summerlunch+, a food initiative to help serve meals and deliver food education to Toronto kids during the summer break. We contribute both our time and donations to this important food insecurity cause.
